History
A magical box, tied to an enchanted key was crafted long ago by a human necromancer whose name is lost to time. Whoever is in possession of the silver key can command the disembodied hand housed within the chest to spring forth and do their bidding. These commands can be verbal in the common tongue or mental commands. The hand can creep about, propelled on its fingers, manipulate objects, and perform activities for its master.

The Fortune Seekers unearthed the ancient strongbox from a Necromancer’s Lair and in the process freed an Imp. The Imp was later captured and bound to serve Stem as his master. Stem compelled the Imp to explain the history behind the box, what lies within (the crawling claw), and how it is controlled (The Silver Key).
